Speller software 2.0 is an application to help students improve their literacy skills. It is available as a no-charge download for SMART customers. Specifically created for the interactive capabilities of SMART Board interactive whiteboards, this software helps make learning fun and engaging. With Speller software, students and teachers can do the following:
- Display images of the word to be spelled
- Drag letters on screen to spell words
- Get automatic feedback on answers
- Adjust the difficulty level
- Import entire word lists, even foreign languages
- Test words from other languages

NOTE: Speller software only works on computers connected to a SMART Board interactive whiteboard or Sympodium interactive pen display. Lesson preparation can be done on computers not connected to a SMART product. This software is only available for Windows operating systems (Windows 98 or newer).
